By accessing or using Sewage Spy ("the App"), operated by Zentive Systems Ltd ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Sewage Spy provides real-time information about sewage discharge events reported by UK water companies. The App displays data obtained from publicly available water company monitoring systems and allows users to set up alerts for specific locations.

Data Accuracy and Disclaimer

Important: The sewage discharge data displayed in the App is sourced directly from UK water company monitoring systems. While we strive to present this information accurately:

• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data
• There may be delays between actual discharge events and their appearance in the App
• Some monitoring equipment may malfunction or provide incorrect readings
• The absence of a reported discharge does not guarantee water safety

The App is provided for informational purposes only and should not be your sole source for making decisions about water safety. Always exercise caution and check official sources before entering any body of water.

User Accounts

Some features of the App require you to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute the App's data without permission
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding third-party data from water companies), is owned by Zentive Systems Ltd and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App
• We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on information from the App
• We are not liable for any health issues resulting from water contact, regardless of whether a discharge was reported

Service Availability

We strive to keep the App available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
